The last film I watched was Thailava. Lets say, it was not my cup of tea. Although I'm a fan of Vijay's dancing abilities, which was very less, the movie was just a fiasco. Haven't gone for one ever since that tragedy. I was double minded when my friend called me for Shuddh Desi Romance. With the ticket rates like 350 for a show, I usually wait for all the criticism and then decide. The movie had released the day before, and I had no time to check out the reviews.
And we rushed to the theater. :)
I think I'm a romantic at heart. We all are, aren't we. Though some of us stubbornly deny that they are meant for those mushy lovey-dovey movies are for the teenagers, we love it too. True, love stories will become a sure hit in colleges and schools, but if a good one comes by, surely would see it. So what is Romance?? Quick googling will give you the meaning as "A feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love".
A feeling of excitement and mystery they call it :D :D. Hey you there! Though you seem grumpy and moody and sulky, I'm sure you know what it meant by this excitement or mystery. Perhaps, yours was a one sided affair/ a fling or something which didn't quiet start to give it a name, but you know the meaning. The extra 5 minutes you took to straighten that one strand of curly hair, that tune you have been humming for the past one week, or that unnecessary glance you took. Yes.. that familiar excitement :)
And mystery? Well, com'on you don't all of these regularly? :D
Shuddh Desi Romance, rekindled that old feeling in me. Though the film was a bit dragging and repetitive, the quirky dialogues of the smitten, the patience of a lover, the confusions at the initial stage, the bigger confusion of a commitment...
